Icehouse, Diesel & Taxiride Join Forces On November Lakeside Twilights Line-up

Iconic Australian outfit Icehouse will headline this November's family-friendly Lakeside Twilights event in Ballarat, it has been announced.

Hitting Fairyland Reserve, on Lake Wendouree, on Saturday 18 November, the veteran local outfit will be joined by Diesel and Taxiride for evening of hits and favourites from three of the nation's well-loved acts from across the decades.

The shows should bear particular significance for Icehouse fans given the band's recent announcement that they'll be taking an "extended break" following their 40 Years Live tour later this year.

That tour also encompasses two sold-out shows at Melbourne's Palais Theatre, as well as a two-night-stand in Sydney.

Tickets for the November Lakeside Twilights event will go on sale from 9am local time this Thursday, 31 August, via Ticketmaster.

Ticketmaster subscribers will also have a shot at a presale from 9am tomorrow, 29 August, running till 11.59pm on Wednesday.
