The first and final addition to the Jethro Tull singer's limited run

Ian Anderson, the venerated flautist and vocalist of transcendent veteran act Jethro Tull, has announced a second and final show in Sydney for his forthcoming tour of Australia this December.

In order to cope with the NSW capital’s rampant Tull lust, Anderson and his The Best Of Jethro Tull touring party will now take to the Sydney Opera House stage on Friday, December 12, in addition to the city’s previously announced performance.

Tickets for the new show will go on sale at 10am on Monday, July 28, with My Live Nation members being able to access pre-sale tickets from midday on Friday, July 25, until 5pm Sunday, July 27.

The Best Of Jethro Tull, starring Ian Anderson, will revisit the band’s seminal album Thick As A Brick, as well as tracks from fifth solo album Thick As A Brick 2, classic cuts such as Aqualung and Locomotive Breath, and early gems such as Bouree, originally from sophomore record Stand Up (1969).
