"We’re super excited that we’ve been able to replace them with one of Australia’s most iconic punk bands of all time."

Ahead of the blockbuster punk/hardcore festival that Unified have put together for next January, organisers have announced that Melburnian punk rockers Bodyjar have joined the fray.

The quartet have been laying low in recent days, but have said of their addition to UNIFY, "Pretty happy to be playing UNIFY - A Heavy Music Gathering with so many rad bands who we can call mates as well, only our 2nd show in 12 months. Probably will shit out [sic] pants!"

Bodyjar will be joining the likes of a freshly-reformed Alexisonfire, Every Time I Die, Moose Blood, Storm The Sky and Columbus on the camping festival, in the wake of hardcore act I Killed The Prom Queen's cancellation.

The band were due to play their well-loved 2006 record Music For The Recently Deceased in full, but have cancelled "due to unforeseen circumstances".

The Music reached out to Unified about the cancellation, who stated, "Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, I Killed The Prom Queen had to pull out of UNIFY 2017. We’re super excited that we’ve been able to replace them with one of Australia’s most iconic punk bands of all time."

Earlier this month, IKTPQ cancelled two shows in Spain which were part of their expansive European tour.
