k flay

Rapper/producer K Flay will be kicking it headline-style in four cities this May to really make the most of her maiden voyage to Australia.

She's only two months away from the release of her second album, Every Where Is Some Where, due out 7 April, so punters in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth are sure to hear plenty of new material from the Los Angeles muso akin to her new single, Black Wave.

K Flay's headline shows kick off from 2 May.

the darkness

The glam metal favourites will be bringing their singalongs, shredding and general flamboyance to four headline shows while they're in town this May, with the band's enigmatic lead singer Justin Hawkins stating, "Ask any fool - a Darkness show is a place where believers come together, where fluids are shared, and dreams are built.

"But most importantly, where rock and roll is crowned king EVERY NIGHT! Come one, come all…"

The English rockers will be playing their first headline show in Brisbane on 27 May, before heading to Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.

against me!

With their new album Shape Shift With Me in hand, Against Me! will undertake an entire headline tour aside from their slot on Groovin The Moo. The band's Laura Jane Grace also recently released a memoir called TRANNY: Confessions of Punk Rock’s Most Infamous Anarchist Sellout

The band will be playing six shows around the country with Melbourne act Camp Cope trooping along with them. Their first show is 3 May in Brisbane, before they move on to play Hobart, Melbourne, Wollongong, Sydney and Perth.

loyle carner

London up-and-coming emcee Loyle Carner is heading down under for his debut Aussie performances and has added four headline shows to his schedule.

The 22-year-old hip hop artist has already toured with Joey Badass and played Glastonbury off the back of his debut record, Yesterday's Gone.

He'll be playing four shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth in addition to his Groovin The Moo run.

the wombats

To celebrate the 10th birthday of their debut record, A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation, The Wombats have slated in some giant birthday celebrations in addition to their Groovin The Moo commitments.

The band will be bringing the fan favourite album to huge venues in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, where you'll be able to dance along to tunes like Let's Dance To Joy Division, Backfire At The Disco and more.

The band adds, "Hey Australia, so we're playing Groovin' the Moo this year and we thought whilst we were over it would be rude not to do some sideshows as we're celebrating 10 years since the release of our 1st album! Our 1st baby is 10, we can't believe how much he's grown.

"We look forward to having a few massive birthday parties for the little blighter. Hope you can make it! - PS New music coming this year!"

milky chance

German duo Milky Chance are back with a vengeance in 2017 and off the back of their new single, Doing Good, have announced four headline shows.

The band's new record, Blossom, is due out in March and in May, they'll be stopping by Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth to give fans a chance to hear the new material up close and personal.

architects

Not one to sit on their laurels, UK metalcore act have announced a five-date tour of the country off the back of their slot on Groovin The Moo this year.

The band were last here with Bring Me The Horizon in September with their record All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us, just a month after guitarist Tom Searle tragically lost his long battle with cancer.

At the time, the band's Dan Searle stated, "I don't know what will become of Architects."

Architects will kick off the headline shows in Brisbane on 2 May before playing two shoes in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. They'll be joined by Ocean Grove.

We will continue to update this post.
