More Bon Jovi More Bon Jovi

Just a week after Welsh outfit Bullet For My Valentine took out the highest album debut, a slew of fellow heavy metal and rock acts are set to feature in this week's ARIA Charts in a number of different rankings.

Primed to compete for the #1 position is US heavy metal band Disturbed and iconic rock outfit Bon Jovi. Disturbed's new record, Immortalized, is the group's first since reforming this year after a four year hiatus and has fans chomping at the bit to hear new material.

Meanwhile Bon Jovi's thirteenth studio album, Burning Bridges, comes just two years after What About Now, not to mention they have already announced yet another record set for release next year.

Elsewhere, Matchbox Twenty frontman Rob Thomas is aiming for a top five finish with his third solo album, The Great Unknown, alongside pop punk act Short Stack's latest offering, Homecoming.
