'High' is the first taste of the Sydney outfit's follow-up to their acclaimed 2011 debut

Stalwart Sydney rockers Royal Headache have announced that they will release High, the eagerly awaited follow-up to their acclaimed 2011 self-titled debut album, this year, unveiling the record's title track as a free stream for good measure.

The track drops hot on the heels of Royal Headache's infamous appearance at the Sydney Opera House for the city's Vivid Festival, and a little further behind their lauded work as opening act for The Black Keys on their recent tour Down Under.

To be totally honest, with all the live accolades being sent their way, it's amazing that the group have found time to record another entire album but, if the title track is any indication, we're absolutely stoked that they managed to squeeze in the effort. Check out High, the single, below.

High, the album, will be released Down Under on Friday, 21 August, via the band's own imprint Distant & Vague Recordings. Pre-orders are availbale now, and come with an instant free download of the title track.
