Do any of the bands you want to see clash?

Good Things Festival organisers have shared the timetables for the event held in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, two weeks out from the festival.

As previously noted, Good Things 2022 is headlined by Bring Me The Horizon, who will play a 75-minute set on all dates. The bands closest to them on the bill - Deftones, NOFX, TISM, Gojira, and Regurgitator will perform for an hour. The remainder of the acts have 30 to 45-minute sets allocated to them.

The Melbourne and Brisbane editions of the festival are Licensed 15+ events, while the Sydney date is an 18+ event.

Fans eager to see the Good Things Battle Of The Bands winner, Jxdn, Kisschasy, Thornhill, or To The Grave, should turn up early as the festival starts proceedings at 12:10 pm.

The Battle Of The Bands was organised by festival organisers: a competition for local bands from each state to win the opportunity to perform alongside massive heavy acts this month. The winner in Sydney will be announced tomorrow, and the Melbourne and Brisbane winners will be announced on 23 November.

There will be five stages at Melbourne's Flemington Showgrounds, Sydney's Centennial Park, and Brisbane Showgrounds. The festival will end at approximately 9:45 pm in all states, which gives punters enough time to head to the official after-parties at Stay Gold in Melbourne, the Burdekin Hotel in Sydney, and The Brightside in Brisbane. The good (things) vibes will go on all night.

However, the not-so-good news: the dreaded clashes. Regurgitator and Redhook are performing simultaneously, and if you're a Redhook and Bring Me The Horizon fan, you'll have to bolt from the Sydney band's last song to make it to Bring Me The Horizon on time. The headliners also clash with the Polyester Girl group, a bummer for many fans.

Lacuna Coil and The Amity Affliction also clash, as do Ukrainian metallers Jinjer and Melbourne cinematic metalcore group The Gloom In The Corner. Nova Twins and Sleeping With Sirens will also play at the same time. Deftones and The Story So Far fans will have to decide: what do I like more? Atmospheric nu-metal or pop-punk? And TISM and Soulfly enthusiasts are left with choosing filthy riffs or synth-punk.

With the timetables released a few weeks away from the event, gig-goers do have some time to plan their days.
