Gang Of Youths, Porter Robinson Lead 2023 This That Festival Line-up

This That festival returns to Bribie Island, Queensland and Newcastle, New South Wales, this November with a line-up led by Aussie alternative rock legends Gang Of Youths and acclaimed US electronic music artist Porter Robinson (who is also playing headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne).

The event begins on Saturday, 4 November, at the Sandstone Point Hotel in Bribie Island before heading to Wickham Park, Newcastle, the following Saturday.

Today, This That drops its first artist announcement, packed with 28 local and international music heroes. The headliners will be joined by Alex Lahey, Hockey Dad, Eliza & The Delusionals and Lola Scott, representing good old Aussie indie-rock.

Elsewhere on the line-up, This That brings some of the most hyped heavy acts in the country to Bribie and Newy. Dear Seattle and Trophy Eyes will bring their punk rock A-game, while dance music is represented by Alice Ivy, Godlands, Slumberjack and more, alongside hip-hop stars Chillinit, Jesswar and Sophiya.

Winston Surfshirt will also perform a riveting set exclusively in Newcastle. Other exclusive sets include Hooligan Hefs (QLD exclusive), the self-proclaimed “princes of party”, Peking Duk, in Queensland, and a NSW exclusive DJ set from The Presets. You can check out the entire line-up below.

This That festival arrives with three stages, including the titular This (an “open-air festival firework frenzy experience”), That (a “raging rave cave”) and the Other Stage, which will set an immersive scene of “art, sound and sensory installations”.
