Full Tilt across Australia has been challenged. Dates have been moved & line-ups have changed more than we can keep track of but the Melbourne date is HAPPENING & here are 5 bands you cannot miss!

Make Them Suffer

MTS released 'How To Survive A Funeral' back in early 2020. Due to border closures between WA & the rest of Australia, they haven't been able to play a single song off this album. They released 'Contraband (ft. Courtney Laplante)' in 2021 & it just took out the number one spot on the Hardest 100 countdown. Despite a recent line-up change that saw keyboardist & clean vocalist Booka Nile depart the band, the remaining four members must be chomping to get out & play these new songs.

Make Them Suffer are on Stage 1 at 2:10PM

Psycroptic

The Taswegians (yes it's a term - don't @ me) are an absolute powerhouse performance. Psycroptic were a late addition to the lineup & you could feel a collective squeal of happiness from fans when their name popped up on the poster. It's been a decent amount of time since a Melbourne appearance & if you're anywhere else when they play, you're missing out!

Frenzal Rhomb

This band have solidified their place in the Australian Music Industry & they have earned every attendee's time & respect. 2022 marks the 30 year anniversary for the Sydney crew who have had three ARIA top 20 albums & will be performing tracks from their huge plethora of records from this time. Nestled between Slowly Slowly & Thy Art, the band will serve as a perfect bridge between the two & with the expertise in a live setting, this performance will kick ASS!

Thy Art Is Murder

Fans that attended Knight & Day were gutted when a covid case in the Thy Art camp meant they were a late out for the new years festival. They were on & off the various date for Full Tilt over the last year but seeing them smash a sunset timeslot will be mammoth. Vocalist CJ McMahon has teased a mixed bag of songs for this set. When thinking back to TAIM live sets in the past like the bible burning of Unify 2017, the stage rush at Soundwave 2012 & who could forget the meme that is CJ opening his leopard print shirt in the wind from early 2020. What will happen at Full Tilt? Who knows yet, but don't get FOMO. Be there!

Thy Art Is Murder play Stage 1 at 6:25PM

Northlane

I could sit here and justify 1000 reasons why you have to catch this headline set but if you are heading to Full Tilt, chances are you already know you're going to watch Northlane. The band have been off the stage for far too long & given their calibre of performances in the past, this is shaping up to be absolutely EPIC! New album 'Obsidian' is just around the corner, with 4 tracks released so far that merges an electronic feel into the breakdowns & slamming riffs of 'Clockwork', 'Echo Chamber', 'Plenty' & latest release 'Carbonized'. All of which most attendees will be hearing live for the very first time! If that's not enough to convince you, singer Marcus Bridge has one of the greatest voices in the heavy music world across the globe & his voice alone will grab you whether you're at the bar, on the front barrier or live in the surrounding neighbourhoods, you'll be captivated & in that pit in no time.

Northlane will close out Full Tilt Melbourne on Stage 1 at 8:40PM
