Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes Announce Australian Tour, New Album 'Dark Rainbow'

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes are heading to Australia in April 2024 for their most extensive tour down under to date. As well as the newly announced tour dates, which you can find below, the UK rockers have revealed details about their forthcoming album, Dark Rainbow.

Dark Rainbow will be released on Friday, 26 January 2024, but before then, you can check out the first single Man Of The Hour below.

Carter said about the gothic balladry meets alternative rock number, “We talk about how rock and roll will never dies, but we never really talk about how maybe the idea of the rock star should die. The whole concept and what it means has always been this glamorised moment, but ultimately, when I put that suit on, it didn’t go very well for me.

“I'm just witnessing the world change so quickly around me, and I’m still trying to come to terms with who I am and what the authentic version of me is. By giving people what I thought they wanted, I think I got further and further away from who I actually am.”

Carter continued, “We've lived a lot of life together. A lot has rested on our shoulders. In a creative sense, that’s a beautiful thing.”

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes’ Australian tour begins on Tuesday, 16 April, at Magnet House in Perth before heading to Adelaide’s The Gov (18 April), 170 Russell in Melbourne (19 April), Geelong’s Barwon Club (20 April), The Triffid in Brisbane (Tuesday, 23 April), and ends at Crowbar in Sydney (24 April).

The Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes artist pre-sale begins on Wednesday, 4 October, at 10 am and lasts until 9 am Friday, 6 October. The Live Nation/venue pre-sale starts at 10 am on Thursday, 5 October, and ends at 9 am on Friday, 6 October. General public tickets go on sale on Friday, 6 October, at 10 am.
