The iconic NZ label announced new management yesterday

New Zealand's iconic Flying Nun Records will look to reissue material from the extensive back catalogue, the new General Manager told theMusic.com.au today.

Yesterday news of the shake-up was announced, with Arch Hill Recording's Ben Howe taking the management role and moving the label's offices to Auckland, next to Arch Hill's.

Howe said, “An important focus of the label will be re-issues from the label's 30 year history. Artists like The Clean, The Chills, The Bats and lots of others deserve to have their music represented in a ways that will be exciting to any fan of the genre.”

He added, “I'm very excited to be working with all the artists on Flying Nun. It is a label I've had a long history with, many of the band members are old friends and I am really looking forward to getting things cracking along.”
