Flap! have just released their brand spanking new album “A Great Day For The Race last Friday and have now announced an east coast tour in support of it.

The Melbourne natives showcase a collage of 1920's jazz, English folk, gypsy brass and Trinidadian calypso influences, producing a fresh, unique sound. The ensemble features a distinctive line up of banjo-ukulele, cornet, trombone, double bass and drums.

Being no strangers to the festival scene, Flap! have tore it up everywhere from Port Fairy to Woodford, Falls, Adelaide Fringe, Apollo Bay, Melbourne Jazz, Rainbow Serpent, the National Folk Festival and a swag more.

Before jetting off on their 3 month European summer tour in June, Flap! are sticking around here a bit longer for the official launch of “A Great Day For The Race”.
