'Night Express Pass' on sale now for tomorrow's festival

Fat As Butter have this morning announced a new last minute ticket initiative for tomorrow's festival, with cut-price late-entry tickets now on sale.

The 'Night Express Pass' will allow punters to enter the festival after 6pm and are retailing for $75 plus booking fee. Promoters have described them as “extremely limited”.

The Newcastle festival starts at midday, but acts such as Boy & Bear, Bliss N Eso, Peking Duk, Owl Eyes, Spit Syndicate and Gym Class Heroes will all be playing post-6pm. The full timetable is here.

“Over the years we've had constant requests from the public who are unable to attend the festival for the full day due to other commitments,” promoter Brent Lean said this morning. “In a unique initiative for the first time ever, we would like to offer people the chance to attend the festival at night for an affordable price.”
