Metal Supergroup END Announce First-ever Australian Tour

Hardcore supergroup END are coming to Australia for the first time this June.

The brainchild of renowned producer and guitarist Will Putney (Fit For An Autopsy) and vocalist Brendan Murphy (Counterparts), END then recruited Shai Halud guitarist Gregory Thomas, Reign Supreme bassist Jay Pepito and Billy Rymer of The Dillinger Escape Plan fame on drums.

Kicking things off at Brisbane’s The Brightside on 8 June, END will trek to the Cambridge in Newcastle, Sydney’s Crowbar, and Stay Gold in Melbourne, with the heaviest local supports opening all shows.

The band’s debut album, 2020’s Splinters From An Ever-Changing Face, ripped our heads off at Kill Your Stereo, with our review stating, “There’s little doubt that END are the heaviest super group around currently. 

"On their first ever full-length record, Splinters From An Ever-Changing Face, the overly-talented quintet pack course screams, frenzied blast-beats, noisy dissonant riffage and savage beat-downs into a concise 34-minute runtime, with ‘11 tracks that dive deep into a psyche of chaos, isolation, madness, and violence.’ (And the psychological, mental health aspects of this record also shouldn't be ignored.)”

And “No matter where you sit on the hardcore-metal spectrum, END have a little something for everyone on their long-awaited first full-length record.
