Celebrating 14 years of Celtic folk metal

More Eluveitie More Eluveitie
No other band is quite like Eluveitie - their mixture of mouthwatering guitar solos, crushing drum beats, whistling flutes and bellowing bagpipes are a testament to the unmatched power of the Celtic folk metal group who are set to embark on a tour across Australia in May next year.

The Swiss act will tantalise audiences with a string of breathtaking two hour shows that will feature songs spanning across their entire career - from their 2003 demo release Ven, all the way through to their most recent album Origins that was released back in 2014.

Originally formed in 2002, Eluveitie has developed a cult following of diehard fans who can not get enough of their intensely beautiful and heroic tales expressed through alluring narrative and spectacular live shows. The band is led from the front by founding member Chrigel Glanzmann’s piercing growls that match up perfectly against Anna Murphy’s sweet angelic voice.

The group will kick off their massive tour in Perth on 17 May at The Capitol, passing through Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne before finishing up in Adelaide at The Gov on 22 May. Tickets for all shows go on sale tomorrow at 9am.
