Although their US tour was cut short due to the COVID-19 crisis, Gold Coast indie rock outfit Eliza & The Delusionals still managed to fit plenty in throughout their stint supporting Silversun Pickups.

The band shared some highlights from the whirlwind trip with us, which you can enjoy listening to their new EP, A State Of Living In An Objective Reality.

"This is us at Brisbane airport before we left. I think we were all really excited and nervous about the tour - and thinking about the fact that when we landed we wouldn't get to go and sleep, we'd have to go and pick up our bus and guitars, rehearse with the drummer that we had met once over Skype, drive from LA to Santa Ana, have a green room shower and go on stage for the first show of the Silversun Pickups tour."

"This is a photo of our first-ever show in the US in Santa Ana at the Observatory. We had pretty much been awake for 30+ hours as we had just landed in America that morning, and we slept in an RV in a Walmart carpark that night. It was great."

"This was just before we played at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. HOB venues across America always had the best Mexican food on the rider - Especially this one. Best chips and guac ever."

"This one is of us after our set at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, CO when we were on tour with Silversun Pickups. It was such a beautiful old venue with so much history behind it, and we were so grateful for everyone who came along early to watch our opening set."

"Here's us at Fender in LA just after we had gotten off the plane. It felt like Christmas day because we were lucky enough to get some new guitars and amps as Fender Next artists, and a really nice tour of their headquarters."

"This is us at Norms Rare Guitars in California, it was actually the last thing we got to do before we had to come home due to the COVID-19 concerns."

"Here's a photo of Kurt with our tiny fancy champagne bottle we got on our rider at the Fox Theatre in Oakland."

"Backstage after our last show with Silversun Pickups just as they came off stage at The Fillmore in New Orleans. It was actually Mardi Gras that week as well, so it was a really fun way to end the tour."
