Not Going Gently Into The Night, Dream On Dreamer's Swansong

More Dream On, Dreamer More Dream On, Dreamer

After over a decade, Dream On Dreamer have closed the last chapter in their story leaving a beautiful epilogue for their fandom as a parting gift, Dream On Dreamer’s final song ‘Hurricane’ is here.

This time, looking to the help of long time friends Sam Bassal (Ocean Grove) and Troy Brady (Ex-The Amity Affliction) to see out the final vision for Dream On Dreamer. April 2020 saw Dream On Dreamer announce their final record What If I Told You It Doesn’t Get Better. One last album and tour to say goodbye, tragically hindered by COVID-19, leaving fans and the band without closure.

Yet, it wasn’t until 2022 began and the hope of shows returned in Australia that Dream On Dreamer was able to return to the stage and say their farewells, locking in dates across the country for the last time. The final performance will be their sold-out hometown show at Melbourne's The Corner Hotel, this Friday, June 3rd.

With humble beginnings in 2009, founding members Callan Orr and Marcel Gadacz followed a relentless and ambitious pursuit of musicality. From its raw and brutal introduction, Dream On Dreamer’s debut Set Sails, Armada through to its culmination in What If I Told You It Doesn’t Get Better and the standalone ‘Hurricane’, Dream On Dreamer remain an exercise in introspection, adaptation and evolution.

A career spanning over 50 million streams, ARIA Nominations and performances over countless stages across 24 countries. Dream on Dreamer built a legacy within the halls of heavy music and in the hearts of their fandom across the globe.
