Diplo Unveils Aussie & NZ Tour Plans For March 2017

Venerated US DJ and producer Diplo is set to make his return to Australia in March next year, he has announced.

The Major Lazer co-founder broke the news with a video posted to social media this morning that confirmed he would also be playing in New Zealand while in the area. (Well, why wouldn't you?)

The trip would see Diplo hit local shores on the back of arguably his most successful year to date, which saw him nominated for three Grammy Awards, winning two: Best Dance Recording and Best Dance/Electronic Album, both related to his side project with Skrillex, Jack Ü.

His third nomination, for Producer Of The Year, Non-Classical, was his second nomination in that category, following a nod in 2013.

Looking back to his impending visit in March, there are no dates to speak of yet, so make do with the video for now, and keep your eyes peeled for future updates as more information is made available.
