Deftones Announce Australian Tour

The legendary alternative metal band will visit Australia for five shows next year.

The alternative metal trailblazers Deftones have announced a headline tour for May next year.

The band will start their run next May and will pass through capital cities in NSW, Victoria, WA, SA and Queensland. Also making the journey downunder from the US will upcoming post-hardcore band letlive, who will be the support act for all tour dates.

Deftone's recently-released 2012 album, Koi No Yokan has been widely praised as a mature and forward-thinking record and has landed on a few end of year lists. After a tragic car accident in 2008 left founding bassist Chi Cheng in a coma and unable to continue as part of the group, the band has bounced back, delivering more of the forward-thinking music and captivating live performances they built their reputation on.
