New Dave Chappelle Comedy Special Hitting Netflix Next Week

Following his triumphant return to TV in 2017, Dave Chappelle will be hitting Netflix again this month with a brand new comedy special. 

The legendary US comic's new show, Sticks & Stones, will premiere on 26 August; check out the trailer featuring some solid voice-over work from Morgan Freeman. 

It follows the four previous Netflix specials from Chappelle - Deep In The Heart Of Texas, The Age Of Spin, Equanimity and The Bird Revelation - which have long been speculated as a potential warm-up for the return of his iconic sketch series, Chappelle's Show.

The specials also saw Chappelle pick up the 2018 and 2019 Grammy Awards for Best Comedy Album, while Equanimity also won the 2018 Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-recorded).

The 45-year-old comic's hosting role on Saturday Night Live in 2017, one of the show's highest-rating episodes ever, also saw him win the 2017 Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor In A Comedy Series.
