Even though he worked on it.

Blur frontman Damon Albarn has revealed to have worked with fellow UK artist Adele on her anticipated third studio album, but it appears that he isn't a big fan of the new material and has gone so far as to say he thinks the material he wrote won't even be used on the final product.

In an interview with The Sun, (via Contact Music) the 47-year-old singer said he is unsure of how the record will turn out.

"Adele asked me to work with her and I took the time out for her...And I'm not a producer, so...I don't know what is happening really...Will she use any of the stuff? I don't think so. Let's wait and see..." Albarn said.

"The thing is, she's very insecure. And she doesn't need to be, she's still so young."

Albarn also revealed that he had listened to some of the material that is believed to feature on the album, though he gave a less than glowing review.

"I heard the work she did with my friend Brian, aka Danger Mouse," he admitted, adding, "It's very middle of the road."

Adele's new album is reportedly aiming to be released by the end of 2015 and fans and critics alike are holding out for what will be the follow up to her hugely successful 2011 album, 21, which received a slew of awards.

The London-born singer won a record-tying six Grammy Awards for the album and it currently holds the record for the highest selling album of the 21st century and is the fourth highest selling UK album of all time.

Her hit song from the album, Rolling In The Deep alone won Grammy's for Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best Short Form Video.
