Five awesome new designs

More Sex Pistols More Sex Pistols

The quintessential shoe for basketballers (historically, at least), rockers and grunge kids, Converse has unveiled a line of Sex Pistols-themed Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers, set for release as part of their Spring 2016 range.

Inspired by the scratched up details of the clubs the Sex Pistols used to frequent, the colours of their wheatpasted gig posters and the band's iconic graphic art, the sneakers each feature the Sex Pistols logo on the tongue as well as in the foot bed.

There are five new designs all available from Converse's website and Converse's Melbourne flagship store, featuring three pairs of high tops and two pairs of low cut sneakers.

Interestingly, there's no design featuring the loud yellow and pink of Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols, but if you're a diehard you probably can't go past the Union Jack print with exposed stitching anyway.

Sex Pistols are (ironically) no strangers to consumer products emblazoned with their logo and style, last year dropping a range of Sex Pistols-themed credit cards through Virgin Money — something Never Mind The Bollocks artist Jamie Reid lambasted.
