City & Colour Is Headed To Australia To Play 'SummerSalt 2023'

City and Colour has announced a long-awaited return to Australian shores. The much-loved project of Alexisonfire guitarist/vocalist Dallas Green will return to Australia for the first time since 2019 as part of the freshly announced SummerSalt 2023 lineup.

Having established himself as one of Australia's favourite international singer/songwriters, Green will bring City and Colour's catalogue of deeply emotional and affecting songs to some of Australia's most picturesque locations in January and February, with the combination of artist and setting promising an unforgettable experience.

Having first toured here way back in 2008 and been a fairly regular visitor to these shores before the chaos of the pandemic-enforced lockdowns, City and Colour has long considered Australia a secondary home and is sure to be warmly received by his legion of Aussie fans. 

City and Colour will take to the SummerSalt 2023 stage armed with six full-length records of beloved songs to choose from, having added 2019's A Pill For Loneliness since the last time he staged a proper tour here,  audiences are sure to get their first look at the likes of Astronaut, Living in The Lightning and Difficult Love.

Those songs will sit amidst a set sure to be filled with fan favourites, with recent North American shows revealing City and Colour's inclusion of staples We Found Each Other In The Dark, Lover Come Back, Hello, I'm in Delaware, Comin' Home, Northern Wind, The Girl and Sleeping Sickness.

Tickets for SummerSalt 2023 are on sale Thursday, 13 October at 10 am AEDT via Ticketmaster.
