The Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre has just announced the first of an on-going series of free live music events in an attempt to shine a spotlight on up-and-coming talent in the Western Sydney region.

Showcasing the local hip hop scene, the inaugural CPAC Live will be held 16 February and headlined by Freesouls with support from Chris Onano and Leeroy Perez.

“Let’s face it, Liverpool’s a tough town to get a gig in. But South West Sydney is a culturally diverse community with a vibrant underground music scene… not that you’d be able to tell,” said CPAC Director, Craig Donarski

“We’re passionate about celebrating the best that South West Sydney has to offer, so we’ve started this FREE series of curated music events to showcase the very best in up-and-coming local talent.

“We’re very excited to kick off our very first CPAC Live with a tasting platter of the finest beats and bars around the LGA, including Freesouls, who are absolutely slaying it all over FBi Radio and Rage right now. At last – a show in the boys’ own hometown!”
