American instrumental post-rock outfit Caspian have announced the supports for their long-awaited debut tour of Australia next month.

In Sydney, seven-piece post-metal outfit We Lost The Sea have been named as the opening act; Hope Drone in Brisbane; Fourteen Nights At Sea in Melbourne; Runner in Perth and Canidae in Adelaide.

The main support for the tour is Sydney cinematic instrumental act Meniscus, who have just come off the back of a massive tour of Europe and Australia in support of their 2011 album War of Efforts.

Caspian, well known in post-rock circles due to an outstanding live show and hectic melodic instrumentals, are touring in support of their latest album Waking Season. After forming in 2003, they have gone from success to success since their debut release You Are The Conductor in 2005, and have built up a commendable live reputation from consistent touring of the US and Europe.

Dates and details below. The tour is being presented by The Music.
