He's releasing 'Prisoner' this week

Following 2015's Taylor Swift cover album 1989, US rocker Ryan Adams is set to debut in the upper echelons of the ARIA Charts this week with his 16th studio album, Prisoner.

But can Adams leap ahead of the 50 Shades Darker soundtrack, which debuted at #1 last week? It was the 50 Shades trilogy's second #1 soundtrack debut on the ARIA Charts, and it could possibly hold onto the #1 crown this week.

Other debuts this week include roots duo Busby Marou with Postcards From The Shell House, expected to make a top five debut, while Sydney newcomers Middle Kids are expected to land in the top 30 with their debut self-titled EP.

Off the back of their huge tour announce last week, Midnight Oil is also set to shoot back into the top 30 with Essential Oils, alongside Adele from her Grammys sweep.

On the Singles Chart, Ed Sheeran's newest release How Would You Feel (Paean), though he noted it wasn't an official single, is anticipated to debut in the top two, with Kygo and Selena Gomez's It Ain't Me set to slip into the top ten.
