Fronted by former Heroes For Hire vocalist Brad Smith, the Sydney band have signed with Melbourne-based label, Teamwrk Records, who boast a roster that features a number of big local acts including Will Sparks and Tyron Hapi.

The signing coincides with the release of their official lyric video for Down & Out; check it out below.

"We are absolutely ecstatic to have Cambridge join our ever growing roster at Teamwrk Records," Teamwrk’s Head of A&R, Jae Butt, said.

"The team and I truly believe they can be a force in the punk rock scene for years to come starting with this next single Down & Out."

Smith said of the new track, “Down & Out is a song about hitting rock bottom in following your dreams - when you hit that point where you are ready to give it all up and let those dreams be your past.

“However, it's the realisation that no matter how low you get dreams are what keep us human and striving for our best. Down & Out is about taking that turn and not giving up on what you want to achieve in life.”

Cambridge will next perform alongside Seraphs Coal, Antiskeptic and For Amusement Only in Sydney this Saturday. Head over to theGuide for more details.
