“With the T-Pain tour coming up next month I felt it’s only right to warm up with my own little tour."

Following the release of his highly anticipated EP Chasing Home, breakthrough Australian artist Mason Dane has announced a run of national headline shows.

The tour will kick off in Sydney on the 27th of April before Dane makes appearances in Melbourne and Perth and closes the tour with a special home-town show in Newcastle.

The Australian tour announcement comes alongside last week's announcement that Dane will be joining American heavyweight rapper T-Pain on his forthcoming tour, The Road To Wisconsin.

“With the T-Pain tour coming up next month I felt it’s only right to warm up with my own little tour before moving on from this Chasing Home-era,” Dane said.

“We’re stopping at Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, then I’ll be hitting my hometown Newy to finish it off and bringing out some guests in every city. I can’t wait to perform these EP tracks for the first time while also bringing some dope energy and preparing myself for this massive US tour with Pain.”

The pop music mogul connected with Dane via TikTok for his first single DASH, after a viral reaction video from T-Pain. The duo have since formed a budding friendship.

On the tour announcement, Dane added: “Touring with T-Pain is something I probably never would’ve imagined would be a reality but here we are. It’s gonna be a wild ride, 20 shows all across America on a bus with the crew and I can’t wait to see the country and continue to grow my audience and my friendship with Pain. Super super exciting times."

Most recently, Dane collaborated with Western Sydney icon A.GIRL, Brisbane's Day1 and Melbourne's Reyanna Maria to craft new track Never Miss A Beat for ARN's The Edge Rebrand, CADA.

Earlier this year he released his highly anticipated EP, Chasing Home, which showcased his distinct versatility, blending trap tones with pop and EDM into a unique sound of his own.
