More Boo Seeka More Boo Seeka

Psych-soul/hip hop duo Boo Seeka are hours away from the radio premiere of their new single Does This Last, but they're so stoked on it they've gone right ahead and announced a run of Aussie shows in support of the new track this April and May.

The boys are due to jet across to the States in early March for a 13-date North American tour, and they're barely pausing for breath when they touch back down at home, giving themselves just under a week to rest before starting the party all over again with the first gig of the single tour at Sydney's Manning Bar on Friday 7 April.

From there, Boo Seeka head south to Canberra and Melbourne before ping-ponging between Brisbane, Adelaide and Mildura to see them through the month.

Then, from Friday 5 May, they knock over a trio of closing shows in the west, hitting Perth, Bunbury and Dunsborough, where they round out at Clancy's on Sunday 7 May.

Boo Seeka will be supported on the tour by Sydney alt-pop trio Glades.

This kind of dedication and work ethic shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who has been following the band's career in recent times, with the pair having spent the past 12 months solidly on stages all around the country for headline tours, support shows and festival spots, including Groovin The Moo, Festival Of The Sun, Splendour In The Grass, Southbound and Party In The Paddock.

Does This Last, the impetus for all the fuss, is the newest taste from Boo Seeka's eagerly awaited debut album, which is due for release in July on Sureshaker/Warner Music. The track was produced by Ian Pritchett and boasts "a bed of spacey synth and string layers".

Keep your ears peeled for the single on triple j tonight, and head to theGuide to secure your tickets for the tour.
