The veteran headliners will perform their seminal LP 'E. 1999 Eternal' in full this May

Rap fans are in for a treat this May when the This Is Hip Hop tour rolls into Australia, featuring veteran crew Bone Thugs-N-Harmony as well as West Coast stalwarts DJ Quik and Tha Doggpound, with more names to be announced before it touches down.

Kicking off at Melbourne's Festival Hall with a licensed all-ages showing on Saturday 21 May, the roadshow heads across to Perth on Sunday 22 May to take on Metro City Car Park. From there, it's back east to Sydney's Hordern Pavilion for another licensed all-ages affair on Friday 27 May, culminating with a final performance at Brisbane's Eaton's Hill Hotel on Saturday 28 May.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony add to the allure of their appearance with the news they'll be performing their seminal LP E. 1999 Eternal in full for the first time ever in Australia, while the influential DJ Quik — who was namd by LA Weekly as the #1 West Coast producer in hip hop's history — and experienced rhyme-smiths of Tha Dogg Pound (individually, Daz Dillinger and Kurupt) are sure to provide more-than-capable complementary showings as part of the tour.

Pre-sale tickets for the This Is Hip Hop tour will go on sale from 10am on Thursday 25 February, lasting until the same time on Friday 26 February.
