More Bon Iver More Bon Iver

Bon Iver are gearing up towards the release of their fourth long-player, i,i, and to tide you over until it's out in the world have released a mini-documentary.

The short film, directed by Andrew Swant, goes deep into the production of Bon Iver’s upcoming US tour and looks at the evolution of Bon Iver from solo artist Justin Vernon into the creative collective it is now.

Featuring footage from Bon Iver's last trip Down Under for Vivid LIVE in 2016, Bon Iver's artistic director Michael Brown described the shows as "one of the more rewarding creative projects that we've done".

The mini-documentary premiered via WeTransfer with Head Of Music, Jamal Dauda, saying, “Any time an artist the calibre of Bon Iver is willing to pull back the curtain and share some insight into the creative process, it's a huge privilege that we wanted to be involved in however possible.

"Justin and his team crafted a beautiful, insightful piece around taking the intimacy of a live show and continuing to grow that at scale. We’re always excited about the opportunity to partner and explore unique creative communities and this was another amazing opportunity to do just that.”
