"We are not stopping until World Domination. So keep your eyes peeled for purple shrouds, three stripes and black and white sneakers.”
Blood Command’s most recent singles, Losing Faith and Decades, have found inspiration within 90s grunge and pop-rock storytelling, but their latest, World Domination, stretches into the realm of R&B.
World Domination, the title track from the album of the same name – due for release on Friday, 29 September, through Hassle and Loyal Blood Records – is the third single from the band’s upcoming fifth album.
The Norwegian punk band’s latest number is likely their most divisive single to date, but with Melbourne’s own Nikki Brumen (ex-Pagan) leading vocal duties, they come armed with the kind of charisma bands dream of when they go through a drastic change in sound and aesthetics.
“The album World Domination is 20 rapid bursts of everything and more that Blood Command has ever been,” the press release reads.
With the band members dressed head-to-toe in Adidas garb (as always), Blood Command push what they’re known for to the extremes. All three singles are softer than anything they’ve ever released before, but like all their songs, they explore unrequited love, the power of faith, and climbing out of a dark abyss.

World Domination was produced by Yngve Andersen, engineered and mixed by Simon Jackman and mastered by Dag Erik Nygaard. The artwork was created by Robert Høyem, while the album was recorded at the Ranch, Southampton, UK and SpaceKraft, Bergen, Norway.
The band said about the album, “Like various underground religious groups throughout history, BLOOD COMMAND’s ever-growing following, The Awaketeam, is rising around the globe, and we are not stopping until World Domination. So keep your eyes peeled for purple shrouds, three stripes and black and white sneakers.”
