Mark Hoppus has started a war with his Beverly Hills neighbour after their pine tree has grown “too big” and has “obstructed” his view, as reported by TMZ.
Hoppus and his wife Skye are now suing said neighbour over the tree. As the lawsuit obtained by TMZ states, the I Miss You singer claims that the neighbour’s tree now violates the rules set by the local planning commission.
According to Hoppus, the plans express a rule that the neighbour’s tree mustn’t go above 15 feet in height. A few years ago, his neighbour was also told to remove other trees. Now, those trees are growing back, while the pine tree is above 15 feet and obstructing the blink-182 star’s views.
The lawsuit alleges that Hoppus’ neighbour has denied his requests surrounding the trees, so now he’s after an injunction from a judge and seeking damages.
Earlier this year, a blink-182 fan was reportedly tricked into buying into an elaborate scheme that would allow her to meet drummer Travis Barker.

She believed that she was talking to the real Barker on social media, and the scammer behind the ruse told her to simply visit him at his address.
After being turned away from the gated community Barker lives in, she ended up driving her car through the gates at Barker’s house before getting caught by the drummer’s security and arrested for trespassing.
Sources told TMZ that the famous musician wasn’t home when the incident occurred – he was busy rehearsing for Blink-182’s surprise headlining slot at Coachella weekend two, replacing the enigmatic R&B artist Frank Ocean after an ankle injury prevented him from performing.
Blink-182 were a late addition to the 2023 Coachella line-up, appearing on the event schedule which was announced just days before weekend one of the mega festival began.
The band’s appearance at Coachella on Friday, 14 April, was the first time the classic lineup of Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker and Tom DeLonge performed together in nine years.
Blink-182’s Coachella sets were packed with crass NSFW banter, Mark Hoppus looking happier than ever, and a trip down nostalgia lane.
