Blink-182 have finally announced details about their highly anticipated upcoming album, One More Time, the group’s first LP with Tom DeLonge since 2011. The album arrives on Friday, 20 October, via Colombia Records.

One More Time was produced by drummer Travis Barker. This Thursday, we’ll hear the album’s title track. It’s the first new track from blink-182 since October 2022’s one-off single, Edging.

The album’s 17-song tracklist opens with the teased Anthem Pt 3 and includes Edging and track titles such as Turn This Off!, When We Were Young, Blink Wave, Fuck Face, Childhood, and many more. You can view the full tracklist here.

While Tom DeLonge hinted that the album was “weeks away” in a recent social media post, the band announced One More Time via a four-minute video where the trio – DeLonge, Barker and Mark Hoppus – reflected on their career in a chat with Zane Lowe.

During the clip, DeLonge said, “Coming out with these words, ‘One More Time,’ it’s like, ‘Hey, this is the last time we’re going to fuck this up’.”

Barker explained that the album was informed by the tragedies that eventually brought the band back together. “On the album, ‘One More Time’, is written about ‘why does it take these catastrophes like me being in a plane crash or Mark being sick for our band to get back together?’” You can watch the video below.

One More Time follows the band’s most recent albums released with Matt Skiba, 2016’s California and 2019’s Nine. The album will arrive as a Limited Edition vinyl release, CD, cassette and box set – you can pre-order your copy here.

Earlier this month, blink-182 started teasing new music by sharing a 30-second teaser video that contains some guitar riffs, a radio losing signal, and the repeated use of “traffic” throughout the clip.

In addition to the video teaser, a new link on the band’s website includes a pre-save to Spotify link and a phone number that you can text “for a good time”.

Elsewhere, posters with the blink-182 logo and “One more time…” written on them recently surfaced in Toronto.

Edging was the first track with blink-182’s most famous line-up since 2012. After months of speculation, blink-182 revealed Tom's return to the band just days before releasing new music, accompanying the announcement with the news that they'd be embarking on a massive global tour that will make its way to Australia in 2024 with support from Rise Against.

Blink-182 will tour Australia with a whopping 15 dates in February 2024.
