More Billy Bragg More Billy Bragg

Folk punk musician and legend of modern protest tunes Billy Bragg has announced a brand new album to be released this October.

A Million Things That Never Happened is the first solo LP from the musician since 2013's Tooth And Nail, and will feature 12 tracks that Bragg wrote throughout the pandemic in the UK.

Produced by The Magic Numbers frontman Romeo Stodart and even featuring Bragg's own son as a co-songwriter, the album takes listeners through Bragg's unique take on the world around him.

Bragg also released the first taster of new music today in the form of lead single I Will Be Your Shield - check it out below:

Bragg recently joined the Rewind podcast with Steve Bell to chat about his first six albums, taking a deep dive into his early years as a punk performer and voice of a generation. They chatted everything from pop stardom to Morrissey and more.
