DOM DOLLA

What are the pros for spending NYE at a festival?

You don’t have to restock the bath tub with ice not worry about who’s going to handle the aux cord!

What’s your preference, camping or glamping?

Definitely camping. Nothing like building your own castle for the weekend.

Don't miss a beat with our FREE daily newsletter

Who are your must-sees on this year’s BTV bill?

RÜFÜS DU SOL for the NY countdown and Hayden James’ live show under the stars shall be a hoot.

Will we see you at morning yoga?

Can you move it to 3pm?

What can we expect from your set? Are you doing anything special for it to ring in 2020?

Keen AF to trial a few new records I’ve been working on! Expectation wise, let’s see how much confetti we can get through.

SNAKEHIPS

What are the pros for spending NYE at a festival?

It's great because making NYE plans is always a hassle. Playing a festival means you're gonna have a sick time anyway and you don't have to worry about figuring out which party you're trying to hit.

What’s your preference, camping or glamping?

I've never been glamping... I've been camping many times. I'm sure I wouldn't be opposed to glamping but the opportunity has never presented itself. Also I don't think I'd go camping in Australia, there's way too many spiders and stuff I'd be living in fear.

Who are your must-sees on this year’s BTV bill?

Lion Babe, Chris Lake, Hayden James & Tyler because they're all sick.

Will we see you at morning yoga?

I sure hope so. I will be there if our schedule permits haha.

What can we expect from your set? Are you doing anything special for it to ring in 2020?

We've been hiding away in the studio for a while so we've got loads of new material to try out. It's gonna be good vibes as always.

PICKET PALACE

What are the pros for spending NYE at a festival?

You don't have to spend the night replying to texts from relatives when you're half cut, pretending to be impressed by fireworks or trying to get an Uber after midnight. It's a win-win-win!

What’s your preference, camping or glamping?

Glamping. We haven't found a normal tent that can fit our five man bed yet.

Who are your must-sees on this year’s BTV bill?

Confidence Man - Best party starters going.

Skepta - Super gnarly, super grouse. Truss me Daddy.

Cassettes for Kids - Let me use his ID to get into gigs when I was a kid. Cheers Zak!

Big Words - Great people making great music.

Will we see you at morning yoga?

Shichair! We're still waiting for our Lululemon sponsorship to get clearance from our lawyers but we'll be there either way - we didn't shave our legs for nothing!

What can we expect from your set? Are you doing anything special for it to ring in 2020?

Yeah, big time! Our guitarist Gussy, who makes our videos, has been making some pretty crazy visuals to really stress everyone out on the big screens. Also we can neither confirm nor deny the persistent rumours of a live collab with Tyler, The Creator. Stop asking.

CASSETTES FOR KIDS

What are the pros for spending NYE at a festival?

Beats getting stuck at a crappy house party you’re not invited to.

What’s your preference, camping or glamping?

I prefer glamping because I’m so far removed from being a man of the wild that the creature comforts of having a bed made for you really make or break my experience.

Who are your must-sees on this year’s BTV bill?

Denis Sulta, Kettama, Loods and Tyler, the Creator. Tyler is an obvious one, but those three DJ’s know how to make a party and after all, that’s what we’re going for, right?

Will we see you at morning yoga?

I’ll be smuggly walking past with my skinny-fat machi physique, sipping a warm beer I took from someone after forgetting to sleep the night before.

What can we expect from your set? Are you doing anything special for it to ring in 2020?

It’s going to be funky with a bunch of feel good cheese to make you forget you’ve been partying for four days straight. I’ll have some of my own in there, but it’ll be a big groovy affair for sure. Get down!

SET MO

What are the pros for spending NYE at a festival?

Being in nature surrounded by other people who are there to have a good time and dance to great music is one of the best ways to bring in a new year in our opinion.

What’s your preference, camping or glamping?

Glamping cause we fancy - we want those nice portaloos please.

Who are your must-sees on this year’s BTV bill?

As always the line-up is stacked with artists we love but a few we're super keen on seeing are Tyler cause his latest album is amazing, Skepta cause we're secret grime lovers and Honey Dijon as shes one of the best DJs in the world!

Will we see you at morning yoga?

Unfortunately not as we're in and out this year with other gigs.

What can we expect from your set? Are you doing anything special for it to ring in 2020?

We're bringing the full live show which is going to be a lot of fun. This is the first year we've embarked on the live journey and having the last 12 months to rehearse and perform the show we're super happy with how it looks and feels now.

MADE IN PARIS

What are the pros for spending NYE at a festival?

Getting to bring in the new year surrounded by music, art, dancing and high vibes all round!

What’s your preference, camping or glamping?

Glamping tents are set up for you and usually have better bathrooms in their areas... so GLAMPING!

Who are your must-sees on this year’s BTV bill?

Floating Points (LIVE!!!)

Honey Dijon (GROOVE MASTER)

Meg Mac (WHAT A VOICE)

All three are so talented and doing amazing things!

Will we see you at morning yoga?

I’ll be staying off site so unfortunately will miss out but I promise to get some yoga stretches in before getting there :)

What can we expect from your set? Are you doing anything special for it to ring in 2020?

I’ll be playing some unreleased music that I’ve recently finished and some other tracks I’ve released over 2019. Also some new and old favs from various artists.
