Not-for-profit charity Youngcare, dedicated to providing choices for young Aussies with high care needs, have announced their line-up for their 10th Anniversary Benefit Concert, led by acclaimed Brisbane singer/songwriter Bernard Fanning, along with Melbourne's #1 Dads and six-piece Mosman Alder

Having collaborated and worked with Youngcare for the past decade, Fanning says, "The first concert that we did at City Hall in 2006 holds some incredible memories for me. It was an atmosphere like no other I have experienced as a performer. I can't wait to be part of it again. It's an iconic venue that rarely hosts concerts such as these.

The Powderfinger single continues, "I take great pleasure in welcoming Mosman Alder and #1 Dads headed by the multi-talented Tom Iansek and his host of merry guests, as well as my own band and returning funny man Julian Morrow."

Youngcare's CEO, Samantha Kennerley, is honoured to have had Fanning's support for so long, stating, "Bernard is a tireless champion for young people with high care needs and Youngcare … Every dollar raised by this concert helps give more young people with high care needs voice, choice and control over their own lives."

Kennerley adds, "Since that first concert in 2006, Youngcare has built homes for dozens of young Aussies who needed to get out of residential aged care and provided more than $2.2 million to over 400 young people through our grants programs."

Youngcare will be hosting their Benefit Concert on Saturday, 10 October at Brisbane City Hall — with more acts yet to be announced, tickets go on sale Tuesday, 11 August through Moshtix.
