The Melbourne lad will play all three shows.

James Wallace – the one man chamber pop orchestra better known by his performance name of Wintercoats – has been announced as the sole support act for Baltimore dream-pop duo Beach House, for their sideshows from Falls Festival in 2012/2013.

With the experience of a recent and extensive UK/Europe tour under his belt, the Melbourne-based youngster was personally chosen by Beach House to accompany them in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne sideshows when they are out here for the Falls and Southbound festivals over New Year's.

His beautifully serene style has been said to, "neatly encapsulate what manages to sound like an entire universe," through simple, yet seemingly perfect orchestration of sounds.

Incorporating his skill with the violin, Wintercoats has progressed to synthetic looping, which he admits is still a new concept to him, though you wouldn't know it from listening to such tracks as Working on a Dream.
