Banoffee, Sui Zhen, Cut Copy DJs & More Named For OffTheGrid Solar-powered Event

Melbourne’s Finding Infinity will transform the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art into an OffTheGrid party this December 22 in celebration of this year’s summer solstice, with a fiesta fit for the likes of Cut Copy DJs, Banoffee, Tornado Wallace, Sui Zhen, Silent Jay + Jace XL and Waxo Paradiso to elevate the party.

OffTheGrid is geared to highlight awareness for renewable energy solutions and raise funds for a particular solar powered project in the works with 100% of profits going towards a renewable energy plant in the heart of Melbourne and proceeds from the plant to fund the next OffTheGrid event. 

What started out in a London basement party, OffTheGrid has spread into Mexico for a solar sculpture beach party and this December in Melbourne making it their biggest party yet, have planned a solar stage five metres tall with a state-of-the-art battery bank to power up the heliocentric extravaganza over the day and into the night’s festivities.
