Death Cab For Cutie frontman andnewly minted solo artist Benjamin Gibbard has just released the clip for Teardrop Windows, taken from his debut solo record Former Lives and theMusic.com.au are proud to host the official Australian premiere of the clip this afternoon.

Written and directed by Tom Scharpling, the clip begins with Gibbard sitting in a record label office as he is told that he will struggle to sell records because he's too 'normal'. In an effort to rectify this he attempts to become a bad boy, hilarity ensues and we all have a good time.

The record, which is out now on Spunk/Co-Operative Music has been well received since its release. We chatted to him just after it came out, read what he had to say here.
