Aussie-Bred Rockers Bellusira Sign US Label Deal

The ex-Melburnian outfit has been welcomed to the Pavement Entertainment fold

Formerly Melbourne-based rock outfit Bellusira have signed a record deal with US-based label Pavement Entertainment, just ahead of the band touching down at home for a two-and-a-bit-week tour of Queensland, NSW, Victoria and South Australia.

The freshly inked deal comes hot on the heels of the band completing a successful 21-date tour of North America as well as recent finalisation of a booking deal, both of which could be seen as the considerable fruits of the band's gamble in relocating to the United States last year, which, in light of this newest deal in addition to the fact they're gracing festivals and regularly staging five to six gigs a week, has now become a permanent move.

However, they're not totally forsaking their home turf, returning Down Under later this and early next month to kick off their 12-show 'We've Missed You' Tour with a bang this Friday, 27 February, with an acoustic BBQ pledge show in Melbourne. Following that, they've got further acoustic pledge shows in Brisbane (6 March), Sydney (12 March), Adelaide (14 March) and Melbourne again (21 March), with regular performances scheduled in and around those dates in those cities as well as Gold Coast, Geelong and Bendigo.
