British rock royalty Arctic Monkeys are returning to Australia early next year, performing three huge outdoor shows in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney next January.

Four years on from their last visit to Australia, Alex Turner, Jamie Cook, Nick O’Malley and Matt Helders will make their grand return as one of the biggest bands in contemporary music.

At their Melbourne and Brisbane shows, Arctic Monkeys will be joined by Melbourne groove masters Mildlife, who just wrapped up Northern Hemisphere dates. 

Sydney fans will receive an extremely special treat, with hometown heroes and anthem makers DMA'S warming the stage alongside The Buoys. 

They'll perform at Sidney Myer Music Bowl (Melbourne) on Wednesday 4 January; followed by Riverstage (Brisbane) on Wednesday 11 January; and finally, The Domain (Sydney) on Saturday 14 January.

Tickets to the shows will go on sale on Friday the 17th of June (Midday local time) HERE. The artist presale starts on Wednesday the 15th of June which punters can get access to via the band's mailing list. Frontier Members can also access the Frontier Pre-sale, which begins Thursday 16 June (10am AEST).

Six studio albums down, Arctic Monkeys have received a wide range of acclaim for their work. 2006's Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not was the fastest-selling debut record in the UK at the time of its release, before winning the prestigious Mercury Music Prize.

They've sold over 25 million albums and have over 30 million followers.
