Another US Act Axes Australian Tour Following Promoter's Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Another US act has axed a tour of Australia next year following allegations of sexual misconduct against Life Is Noise promoter, Dave Cutbush. 

Just days after Sleep cancelled their own tour of the country, Californian singer-songwriter Chelsea Wolfe confirmed her headline run in March will not be going ahead. 

"Under these circumstances we don’t feel it would be right to continue working with him, so we are canceling our Aus/NZ March 2018 tour," Wolfe said in a statement.

"I’ve dealt with my own share of bullshit from men in this industry and beyond so I know what it’s like, and I’m glad that people are speaking out about their experiences in order to create a better atmosphere for all.

"I hope to reschedule this tour as soon as possible."

Life Is Noise has also hinted that black metal outfit Wolves In The Throne Room's Australian tour could also be called off, announcing on Facebook that details "will be provided as soon as they come to hand".

Cutbush, who was sacked from Life Is Noise following allegations that involved engaging in online conversations with a 16-year-old female, admitted to "inappropriate and sleazy" behaviour in an open letter issued on Friday.
