Alexisonfire have today announced their new album Otherness, set for release on June 24.
The record is the first album in over 13 years for the pioneering Canadian post-hardcore group.
Otherness is set to be the band's most self-actualised and most cohesive record to date, following four hugely successful studio albums: Alexisonfire, Watch Out, Crisis and Old Crows/Young Cardinals.
Alongside the announcement, the band have released the album's first single, Sweet Dreams Of Otherness.
The single became a roadmap for the sonic ethos of the record, which features the heavy bellow and urgent attitude in the band, wrapped in a mix of vulnerability, confidence and recklessness.

"A continuous thread through the fabric of Alexisonfire is the state of otherness," reads the record's mission statement.
"Otherness drew us all to spaces where a band like this could be formed. We attract the type of individuals that have all felt the sensation of being strange or unique.
"Perceived or otherwise, otherness has followed us through childhood, adolescence, and into our adult lives.
"It drives our tastes and proclivities. It bonds us with ourselves and others. And make no mistake, even at our most domestic and mundane moments, we are true outliers."
