More Against The Current More Against The Current

American pop-rock band Against The Current are returning to Australia for the first time since 2017 for an epic tour this September and October.

The group will begin their tour in Brisbane on Thursday, 28 September, then head to Sydney, Melbourne, Belgrave, and Adelaide, before wrapping up the shows in Perth on Wednesday, 4 October. View the complete schedule below.

The Nightmares & Daydreams tour will showcase the band's effortless combination of video game culture and the rock scene with their brand of pop, rock, and indie sounds.

Against The Current will play their newest songs, Wildfire and Blindfolded, released last year, and tracks from their 2021 EP and final release with Fueled By Ramen, Fever, as well as all your favourites.

"Having an active social media presence is almost an indisputable requirement of growing a new brand, especially in the music industry. The ability to have access to hundreds, thousands or millions of people in an instant is an unparalleled tool," the band told Kill Your Stereo, which is true when dissecting Against The Current's rapid ascent in music. Following several YouTube covers, the group quickly found chart success and released their own music shortly after.

Chrissy Costanza [vocals], Dan Gow [guitar], and Will Ferri [drums] have over 448 million Youtube channel views, over 4 million Spotify monthly listeners, and have toured alongside All Time Low and Good Charlotte, as well as appeared on main stages at Warped and Reading & Leeds festival.

Pre-sale for the Nightmares & Daydreams tour begins tomorrow at 10 am (AEDT) - sign up here for access. General tickets are on sale on Friday, 27 January, via Destroy All Lines
