Abbie Chatfield Announces New Music Series 'Australian Made'

Abbie Chatfield, television personality and radio presenter, has announced a new series to take place on her radio show, Hot Nights on the Hit Network. 

Australian Made will showcase Australian musicians. Every Thursday, a local artist will join Chatfield in an intimate studio to perform two songs and have a chat about what happens behind the music.

Sycco and Lucy Lucy will feature on the show alongside Mia Wray, Tuppaware Party, Betty Taylor, Hope D and more. 

Chatfield said in a statement, "I love Australian music, it’s the majority of what I listen to, and with the Australian Made series, we’re finally able to spotlight Australian artists on the show. From big names to small local bands who send in DMs to the show, Aussie artists are so talented, and I’m so glad I can provide this platform to share their music."

Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield plays from 7 - 9 pm on weeknights across the Hit Network or on the LiSTNR app.

Earlier this week, Chatfield announced her upcoming Australian shows in The Trauma Dump Tour.

"I had an absolute blast sharing stories and opening the conversation with audiences on the A Hot Night... tour in 2022, so I thought it’s time to unleash my nightmare fuel and offload traumatic relationship stories with you in 2023! Strap yourselves in, The Trauma Dump Tour shows are going to be wild," she said in the announcement.

The Trauma Dump Tour will kick off at the Palais Theatre, Melbourne on Friday 28 April before heading on to Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide on Friday 5 May, then continuing west playing Perth Concert Hall on Friday 12 May, onto Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) on Thursday 18 May before a final hometown show at the Enmore Theatre Sydney on Saturday 27 May.

The shows are guaranteed to entertain and maybe even break some hearts. Pre-sale tickets went on sale yesterday, with the general public on-sale beginning on Monday, 6 January at 10 am local time via Frontier Touring.
