Just hours after its unveiling, a statue of Rammstein vocalist Till Lindemann, by designer and animator Roxxy Roxx, has been stolen.
Police are investigating the theft and asking any witnesses to come forward.
A press release issued by the Rostock Police Headquarters notes, "A statue of Rammstein singer Till Lindemann, which had been erected in Rostock Evershagen just a day earlier, has been stolen.
"The Rostock police were informed about the theft around 10 a.m. on Wednesday morning and are now looking for witnesses. The statue stood on a green area on Bertolt-Brecht-Strasse in the immediate vicinity of the Evershagen Süd stop."
Roxxy Roxx erected the statue in celebration of the Du Hast singer's 60th birthday on 4 January. The sculpture was situated at Lindemann’s childhood home in the Evershagen district of Rostock, Germany.
The German industrial metal icons released their eighth album, Zeit, last year.

Dropping the single Zick Zack - or ZigZag in English - before the album was released, the clip is about as bonkers as Rammstein music videos get (well, within reason, they have literally released pornography previously).
The video sees the band as old men who have obviously been 'enhanced' by years of botox and plastic surgery, performing to 'regular' old people who are lapping it up. The band are surrounded by performers who are having plastic surgery done, and they are being inspected by the band for presumably 'perfection'. The anxiety kicks in for the lead singer (played by Till Lindemann) when his face work begins to melt/droop, and he begins to berate and perform his own fix-job with a stapler.
In terms of the music - It's not going to disappoint Rammstein fans - it's very much within the bounds of what you'd expect from Rammstein, but if you weren't already on board, it's probably more of the same to you.
