Distance join Hindsight Records

Newcastle's Distance have joined Perth-based Hindsight Records, with plans for their debut album to be released 2014.

The melodic punk band will be releasing their first new material through the label come November with "No Funeral", a tape and digital release featuring two tracks set to be included on the forthcoming album. The songs were recorded and mixed in Newcastle with Mat Taylor (Civil War, Hazards, The Hollow) before being mastered by Bill Henderson, (Title Fight, Daylight, Balance and Composure).

Formed in early 2011, Distance have since released a demo and 7", playing throughout Australia with the likes of Basement, The Swellers, Bane, Endless Heights and Postblue.
