In Flames begin recording new album


Swedish metalheads In Flames have confirmed they have entered the studio to begin recording their 11th studio album, due early 2014.

The band will be recording at Berlin’s Hansa Studios, previously home to the likes of David Bowie, Iggy Pop and U2.

"When I visited Hansa Studios earlier this year, I got goosebumps," vocalist Anders Friden told Expressen (via Blabbermouth) "There is so much history both inside and surrounding the studio and I want to be a part of that. Magic has been created here and hopefully that will affect us."


In Flames‘ last album, ‘Sounds of a Playground Fading’, was released in June 2011, debuting at No. 27 on the US Billboard 200 chart. Recently the band unveiled the title track video, which you can watch below.
