An album that…made you want to become a musician?

Pantera – ‘Far Beyond Driven’

This record had some pretty next level drum and guitar stuff on it. Mixed in with watching all the home videos, it made me want to do nothing but practice and become a real player.

An album that…has had the biggest impact and influence on you?

These kind of questions are impossible to answer with just one album. Bands like Alice In Chains, Pantera and White Snake all stuck out in my head and showed me how important having a good guitarist was. Made me practice constantly and just dream of the day that I'd be playing to big crowds in a ripping band.

An album that…instantly puts you in a good mood?

He Is legend- ‘It Hates You’

Anything this band does makes me happy. I can listen to the records from start to finish and just enjoy every minute of it. A lot of it is associated with great memories.

An album that…is considered a guilty pleasure?

Lots of country music. (laughs)

I listen to a lot of country and radio friendly stuff that most of our fans might not relate to. Sometimes I just need something outside of what I hear on tour to inspire me and what not. It also makes you a more valuable musician when you can do it all.

An album that…was considered a massive letdown?

Metallica – ‘Lulu’

Not to ever be a hater or judge anyone but I'm not sure anyone got that album or even had a clue what the goal was at the end.

An album that…you wished you performed on?

Any Alice In Chains.

I've played along to lots of Alice in Chains records and feel like I could really vibe and work well with someone like Jerry. I back his riffs.

An album that…you consider underrated?

Circus Maximus –‘Isolate’

These guys are top notch and this is probably the best progressive metal record I've heard. From vocals to guitar shred to drums…It's just flawless.

An album that…you would like played at your funeral?

Ulver – ‘Shadows of the Sun’

The most emotional and dark release on my iPod. I find myself just lying there listening to ‘Eos’ quite often. Really allows you to process what's going on in your life and move on from there.
